Offering ABA services to shape behavior and build new skills for individuals to thrive.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a science that uses a research and data driven approach to systematically improve human behavior.
ABA is an evidence-based practice that has been proven to help individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
Thrive with ABA offers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to shape behavior and build new skills for the individual. We start by completing an individualized assessment and develop a research-based treatment plan tailored to meet the individual’s needs. We work one-on-one with the individual by implementing the treatment program and provide parental support so that we can best support your child.
ABA clinician will come to the individual’s home to implement interventions based on the assessments written and agreed upon in the treatment plan. In-home services can help with the generalization of outcomes in their natural environment. ABA clinician will provide support helping with the individual’s daily routines such as self-care and meal times.
Parent training provides a BCBA an opportunity to demonstrate interventions that the caregivers can practice outside of ABA session and discuss client progress. Parent training sessions give the parents an opportunity to ask questions and express concerns about their child. This will allow a collaboration between parent and BCBA to best support the child.
BCBA develops a treatment plan based on assessment reports tailored to the individual. This will outline goals to be worked on to improve the client’s skills.
BCBA will frequently monitor data collected each session on goals to help track the individual's progress. Monitoring progress will allow the BCBA to see if any modifications to treatment need to be made for better success.

The ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) is a gold standard diagnostic assessment administered to children and adults to diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorder. It is composed of play and interview questions to assess the language of the individual. Unlike some other assessments the ADOS-2 is fun and individuals enjoy that it is a relaxed assessment. We know that there are long waitlists for individuals to get assessed so we offer the ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) assessment to present to a physician who agrees to consider making a diagnosis based on an ADOS-2 assessment conducted by a BCBA. We cannot provide a diagnosis but can provide ADOS-2 testing.
The VB-MAPP (Verbal Behavior Milestones Placement Program) is an assessment used for younger children with language delays and autism. It is arranged across 3 developmental age levels including 0-18 months, 18-30 months, and 30-48 months. It provides an evaluation of the child’s language skills and barriers to be used to guide individualized intervention programs.
The ABLLS-R (Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills, Revised) is an assessment tool used for children with language delays. It assesses the child’s current repertoire of skills and is then tracked on the skills tracking system. It aids in developing targets to increase the child’s acquisition of critical skills.
The AFLS (Assessment of Functional Living Skills) is an assessment used to evaluate functional living skills that are age appropriate for the individual. It is used for older individuals who already have basic language skills. These adaptive skills include safety, health, toileting, and first aid that are essential for independence.
